DISABLE THE RIGHT CLICK ON THE DESKTOP

This registry trick is very useful mostly for home users who want to protect their system default settings against unwanted changes that other users can make. For example changes in system desktop appearance, themes, and screen saver as well as other display settings. Using registry editor, you can disable the right click functionality on desktop to access the “Display Properties” dialog box and this will also prevent users to access windows explorer.

Follow the given steps:

1: Click Start button and type regedit in Run option then press Enter for next.

2: Here locate the location to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

3: Here in right side panel, right click to create a new DWORD value with the name NoViewContextMenu (it is case sensitive), then assign number 1 in value data box.

4: Now close the registry editor and restart your computer after any changes to go into effect.

But next time, if you want to enable right click functionality on desktop then simply change the value of data box or delete the NoViewContextMenu DWORD item.

INSTALL WINDOW XP IN FASTER WAY

Today i have an old but working trick. i use it when i install windows XP. Normally XP OS installation takes around 39 minutes to complete, but using this trick you can now save around10 minutes. Here we will force system processor for running setup process more
frequently than the normal setup. So setup will take less time than the normal setup.

follow these simple steps

steps:

1. Boot through Windows XP CD.

2. After all the files are completely loaded, you get the option to select the partition. Select “c”.

3. Now Format the partition, whether it is normal or quick with NTFS or FAT

4. Once the formatting is completed, All the setup files required for installation are copied. Restart your system by pressing Enter.

Now, here begins the Simple trick to save 10-15 minutes.

5. After rebooting, you get a screen where it takes 40 minutes to complete or finalize the OS installation.

6. Now, Press SHIFT + F10 Key -> This opens command prompt.

7. Type “Taskmgr” and press enter. This will open Task Manager.

8. Click the Process Tab, here we find a process Setup.exe. Right Click on Setup.exe and Set Priority -> Select High or Above Normal. Initially it will be Normal.

Now your setup process has high priority and will be executed more frequently by processor. SO it will take less time than original. :)
